Has anyone else had the issue that the sensor on the charging flap/door stops working so the car bings at you everytime you go under 10mph to warn you that it's open, even when it's not? 

 

Not much of an issue on a motorway, but infuriating in traffic. 

 

I got it looked at by my local vw specialist, they said can't bypass the alert, because it's linked to the central locking and about 400 quid to replace, because you have to take the front of the car off to get at it. 

 

Surely there must be an easy fix?? Thanks. 

I have the exact same issue on my MY2021 Superb. Dings at me as soon as I go below 16kph/10mph (90% of the time)

Haven't had it diagnosed at a shop yet and I don't have an easy fix unfortunately. Just reviving this for some visibility.

Had the same problem, skoda replaced charger flap switch/mechanism free of charge under extended warranty
