clutch (manual transmission)

Featured Replies

Hi!

I've got a 2018 rs 2.0 tsi with manual transmission, I've been putting off replacing the clutch for a while, but now I finally had time to deal with it. My previous clutch was quite hard and was also difficult to slide in certain situations, the pedal kicked upwards a lot and the dual mass one had been rattling and hanging. These have finally been replaced. The flywheel and clutch set were changed to sachs and the pushrod bearing (OEM), the ride is better now, but I think the pedal still has more resistance than it should. I've driven facelift mk2 octavia 2.0 tsi, it had a very nice clutch, B7 passat 2.0tsi also had a very nice soft clutch.

Which may make it a good one, but it could be better. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks.
