Audi A3 mf steering wheel parts interchangeable with Octavia?

I have access to a 10 plate A3 that is being dismantled. It's like to upgrade my 12 plate Octy VRS to a multi function steering wheel, and while I can find plenty of mf wheels for sale no one seems inclined to remove the clock spring wiring etc that i need for the upgrade and breakers years where I am are few and far between with no Octavia 2 donors available.

Does anyone know if the Audi parts work with the Skoda mf wheel?

Any input appreciated.
