Octavia MK3 Virtual Cluster

Featured Replies

Can we install the used virtual cluster on Octavia mk3

If possible anyone give advice

TIA

Of course you can, it is just not so easy, you need to code it, copy immo details.... You need ODIS and acces to Skoda servers. Also you have to modify odometer, i think now you are able also to take km backwards?

All in all, sadly it is very expensive

Or .... There are some clusters on AliExpress for like 500 euro and are plug and play almost :). The catch is that you have to move the circuit board from your cluster to the Ali digital ones.

Actually my cluster is analog one

Looking for upgrade

Does not matter, changing clusters is a headache due to the immobilizer beeing in it ....

Here is a installation guide for the Ali ones, movie is for a Golf7, but its the same thing for Octavia.

It's pretty easy with ODIS and can be done remotely if you have a VAS5054a or similar for very little money.

The answer was in the other thread you just posted in...

If fitting a used cluster remember that odis may block it if the cluster is deemed stolen or scrap.

A Skoda dealer should sell one but it might be very expensive.

I bought mine from UK eBay but it just depends if there is anything being sold that isn't flagged as stolen etc. Prices vary as they are quite a rare option.

You should contact some online retrofit companies to see if they can do remote immoboliser/component protection with VAS6154a. You might even be able to do it yourself using https://t.me/vwservice_bot for a temporary ODIS online account. It certainly worked for me when I wanted to remove CP from a headunit I retrofitted.

THANKS @langers2k

You got 790 or 790A?

And how much you got?

I bought a 790A.

Not sure I understand the second part?

I'm not a seller so I don't have any for sale. My cluster was free due to some issues with it I had to fix.
