Superb IV weird electrical buzzing noise..

Hi all

My Superb often makes a loud electrical buzzing noise after driving. I switch it off and start walking away, only for it to start buzzing. I go back to the car and switch it on and back off, and this usually rectifies it straight away.

It's definitely not the usual cooling fan noise. This is something else altogether. A few days back I thought I'd risk it and leave it for a few minutes. This caused an awful burning small and much panic. Couldn't find any damage though.

Checked my fabia's sills and there is rust creeping under the paint. I had odd rusty bit that turned out to be stone chip and not deep rust. I discovered thearea just ahead of the rear wheel is susceptible to corrosion. There is a fibre/plastic - tar manufacturer rust protection under paint. I used sharpened wood chisel to remove. The metal flaked. A hole has appeared. The rust has progressed under the sill rather than from above from wheel arch. I've previously used etch primer elsewhere, hig

Hello all. I've owned my current Octavia 1.5tsi dsg SEL estate for around 8 months, now. It's on an 20 plate with fssh, 50k from new. I have a very intermittent screeching noise that seems to be coming from the mid to front end of my car. Occasionally occurs, after the car is fully warmed up, with or without the aircon on, only under heavy load or from a hill start, once moving with my foot down a bit. Hopefully someone has in depth knowledge of the CRLB engine. The problem is oil leaking around the injector seals. Is being pushed through the seals under pressure and onto the top of the camera cover. It seems to me the crankcase is pressuring and forcing oil past the seals in the cam cover. The breather system is rather baffling, with what looks like a breather built into the cam cover. We are asking if any internal breathers can be cleaned or does it require a replacement camera cover. Karoq gearbox doesn't creep?

Hi, I have just bought a 2023 Karoq auto but am disappointed to find the car does not creep to allow for slow movement parking.Yes I know, I should have checked during the test drive. Is there a setting I have missed? I have read we can cause damage to the clutches if we use the brake to "creep". Is that correct? Also, my 12 year old Mercedes auto will hold the car on a hill, perhaps on a queue of traffic, by pressing the HOLD feature but the Karoq will need the Auto stop feature turned on.

I have a leak at the pressure sensor I believe it must be the O ring seal. My question is, are the O ring seals special as they are VERY expensive for an O ring, can I fit an ordinary EPDM O ring. Am I right in thinking the pressure sensor can be removed without losing any remaining gas? Also what sort of lube do I use on the O ring when installing it?
