Subject: Hi.

I’m hoping you might be able to help me source the latest firmware files and update instructions for the Bolero infotainment system in my Skoda Kamiq. I am currently experiencing frequent, random SmartLink (CarPlay/Android Auto) connection drops—sometimes it connects flawlessly, and other times it refuses to connect at all.

Here are my current system details from the Service menu:

Device part number: 654035869B
Hardware: 040
Software: 0464
System Type: Panasonic MIB3

Any help or links to the correct software train updates to stabilize this unit would be greatly appreciated!

I'm looking for your personal experiences of All season tyres please. My Kodiaq currently has Hankook Ventus tyres, which seem great on dry tarmac, but seem to be wearing quickly, even with benign driving - presumably due to the weight of the vehicle. The size (235/45R20) seems relatively unusual and there don't seem to be many options available. I'm currently looking at the following options which seem to range from approximately £195-£300 per tyre: Michelin CrossClimate 2 SUV Continental A

For some time now, almost everytime I pull away (backwards or forwards) it leaps, pauses and then pulls away as expected. I've asked the question of various persons in the know but failed to get a fix. Two weeks ago, I had the front brake pads replaced. They were getting "grabby" and were well worn down. I 've fitted twin horns on other cars in the past by just removing the single and connecting the new hi-lo pair to the original wire. I was young then. Now I'm more cautious, whats the practical thoughts on doing this on an Octavia Mk2? If I use 2.5mm2 wire I don't envisage a problem, but if I ask questions the recommendation is to fit another relay and add a fused power wire from the battery. That makes it a tedious job. Does any of the Mk2s have twin horns, and what size wire was used?

So I recently bought a mk2 Octavia VRs so that I can spend some time on getting the car exactly how I want it and I’m getting there mechanically. My next thought is the underside of the car as it is now 15 years old and I really want to keep this car long term I want to start looking at protecting it.
