After reading so much about the delays in coil pack deliveries, I thought I would let you guys know their also seems to be a shortage of replacement front indicators for the RS (According to my local dealer anyway??) Guess an Octavia indicator is the same whatever model. The seam went on my right indicator after only 8 months. Dealer reckons its a common problem and one to watch out for. Anyway, been waiting nearly 3weeks now!!

Q: If you order something on Warranty from one dealer does that mean your tied to that dealer or can you just forget about them and go to another dealer??

Well, I don't know for sure so there's no real point in me answering,

but I'm going to anyway :roll:

I thought the dealer bought the parts as oer usual, and then claimed it

back against the warranty. So if you haven't signed a form for the work/

parts to be done on warranty, they can't claim it back against it. So I'd

say you could go to another dealer and order the part so long as you

haven't signed the warranty form at the original dealer.

The original dealer might be a bit miffed, but they can just claim for the

part when someone else comes in with the problem...

I might be mistaken though, as I don't really know these things
