Polo I.C.E comes together

Featured Replies

I have started collecting parts for my modest install on the Polo. Due to a very tight budget im buying second hand goods or trading them with my many talents.

First up our very own Walkie furnished me with some Alpine component speakers for up front. And a roll of sound deadening to pad out the doors and maybe the boot, see how much is left over.

Alpine SPS-171A, should work a treat in the Polo.

And Jaymd found a mighty Sony amp whilst cleaning out his garage and an exchange was done with some Techie Vouchers ;). However said amp was looking a little tired (not to mention dirty!) so I gave it a little spruce up

I'll get a wiring kit soon and plumb that all in and have a look about for a sub and box. Plan is to dump the spare and sink it into the very deep boot and then cover over the top for when the pushchair goes in.

As i've got a very annoying dash rattle coming from the n/s I think i'll pull the dash out and do a super neat job of the wiring, so just need a free weekend which are kinda rare these days.

Should be a good start fella - you know where I am if you need any pointers/opinions... :)

Will be a nice little install for sure.
