Awesome, nice finish on the h/unit surround.

Love the install.

How much for the door cards I can't find anywhere to make me speaker pods as my speakers are too deep? They are very nice and I also like the HU surround again how much?

Cheers

Looks beautiful!

Are you using the DEQ as well as the P90 headunit?

Edit: Doh just re-read your post and realised you are!

Are you running anything at the back?

I'm having problems with my P90, it doesn't like running my rear fill using the rear-out, lots of nasty interference!

Very nice. I love audison amps too, they're great :D

Wish I could sacrifice the weekly shopping trip storage space for a nice sub install like that :D

I played around with kick builds in the end as I couldn't be bothered to fibreglass the door cards, but still need to sort my tweeters out. I have some new A-pillar trims on their way and will shortly be doing something similar to your tweeter mounts

hi there thanks for the nice comments to every one ,i have no rear fill just a sub and front end but it does sound very special :) thats strange what amp and speakers you using for your rear fill

Thats an awesome install. Not that often you see cars with speakers that cost around a 1/3 as much as the car did new! Should hope it does sound special! Top notch :)

thank you for that lol its only money thats what i keep telling myself :)

Yup, tis true. You can't take it with you, so you may as well spend it on something you'll enjoy:thumbup:

Hi Steve, I think I remember chatting to you at a couple of IASCA comps this year, I had the black vRS on BBS18s with the stealth-ish install!

The results look stunning fella, top work indeed. Bloody taken you long enough!

Cant wait to see this in the flesh.

Love the door cards and head unit surround, top work indeed.

Call me a pedant - but I think you need new electric window switch holder panel things - only a few quid from a dealer and it'll make them lock down properly!

Mine was lowered on Eibachs, about 25mm, with no problem. Wouldnt want to go any lower though as the sump isn't very far off the ground!

My BBS were Golf Anniversary ones, 7.5" wide, 215/35 tyres. No problems whatsoever.

DLS A4 runs the rear fill (CDT classic co-axials)

Prestige Audio - Skoda Octavia / Car Audio Installations

Equipment has changed since those photos ;)

Amp seems fine, works when connected to the mid out from the EQ. The amp just doesn't seem to like mixed feeds from EQ and headunit

hello i take it you are using the p90 eq with the optical lead from head unit ,but then you sending another signal to the amp from the head unit ? rca leads ? if you are never heard of that before ,i always run active so use lots of amps and full control from the eq ? how do you adjust the rca out put signal ? ,sorry if iam babaling lol just trying to get a feel for the system lay out .i ant helped just asking more questions hehehe sorry :)

nice looking install

i want the surround for the headunit its the one thing that grinds on me with my headunit is the little gap below the unit and the storage tray.

like the amps in the boot surrounding the sub  but ...

why face the sub down? i just cant stand the look of a sub like that just a personal thing :)

is this all your own work or a ice installer job?

Yep, running the P90 with optical to the EQ.

I use the 'rear out' on HU to run two channels on the DLS A4 for the rear co-axials. The other two channels (for the fronts) use the mid-out from the EQ.

That allows me to adjust the signal and so runs the rears so that their not noticable in the front.

This however seems to be the cause for the interference.

If you loop the Mid-out to pass the audio signal to the front and the rear speakers you get no interference at all.

Would like to run 'active' but i'd need another amp for that
