new head unit fitted today

Featured Replies

got me a Kenwood ddx-6029 in the post today and got it fitted, changed from the JVC Kd-avx1 thats for sale on here in the for sale section.i simply went for it because i wanted a bigger screen and going to get an integrated sat-nav solution :)

its quite nice but a bit funny to use in places but that might be where i'm used to the JVC, seems good and looks very OEM in place. i will get some pictures tomorrow when its light but so far i like this unit :)

got the Kenwood bluetooth adapter on order to make the stereo a fully integrated car kit aswell to replace my nokia kit :)

Looks good. do you have to do any mods to get the double din to fit.

Lovely unit indeed. Nice one Bengie.

i didn't have to mod anything but i did take my time to make it all fit and there is a whole lot i had to fit in there! some say they had to modify their din slot to get a similar unit in but i managed to make mine fit even with every optional extra plugged in including virtually every phono input/output being used :)

in the end i have added the nav-unit(as you can see in the picture), the bluetooth handsfree(which works very well indeed) and the TMC unit for the NAV along with everything that i already had installed. :)

Go on then... how much ? then we can all start saving
