Hello Folks,

I want to install one of these in my Mk1 vRS Octavia to the standard Symphony head unit.

In the past I've put head units in, but not anything like this. Assume that I'm a complete novice and then you'll understand my knowlege on these things. I've done the searches on the forum for power leads etc and have a rough idea of how to do that. What I need to know is what connectors do I need and if this kind of thing could invalidate my warranty as the car is one of the last Mk1s on an 06 plate.

I really would appreciate an idiot's guide to this as I know there are some really clued up people on here who could do this sort of thing with their eyes shut.

Great, thanks for the link. I'm now clued up to how to power up the amp, all I need now is to know how to connect it to the Symphony head unit.

iirc there is an adapter to give you your line out. Ill have a search............

here you go, think this is the correct one, might be worth having a search on Briskoda to double check.

if you want to keep within warranty rules don't chop any wiring use adapters

Thanks for that bit of advice. It makes sense I guess to be able to return to factory standard if you need to.

Apparently they link up to the Symphony head unit quite easily according to Blue Spot Car Audio.
