IPOD connection

Featured Replies

I have just bought an Octy VRS FSI, (3rd one & brilliant) and want to connect an IPOD Nanu, how is this done, or is it better to buy a FM transmitter & if so which one is best for this car.

Thanx.

Which head unit do you have in your Octy ????

Nano not Nanu

I have the standard unit, Skoda Stream, with 6 CD changer in the boot.

I have had the Dension IceLink>Plus kit installed in My OctyII Elegance. I had it hidden in the hole directly underneath the Headlight switch.

Halfords installed it in about 1 1/2 hours and cost £133 all in, supplied and fitted.

However, i have the MFD2 Sat Nav and unfortunatly this does not appear to support CDText, thus not showing ID3 Tags.

I am pretty sure the Stream does show ID3 Tags, and hopefully someone else can confirm this for you - in case its an important feature for you (as it is for me)

How old is your car?. If it's an '07 spec there is an ipod connector in the jumbo box.
