Does anyone know what the maximum weights of the standard springs are in the Skoda Superb? Particularly the V6 TDi.

I'm looking at ordering the Eibach Pro Kit Springs in the next couple of days

The max weights of these springs are Fronts - 1230 kg. Rears - 1090 kg.

I interested in knowing what the standards are since I also tow a caravan and don't want to upset the ride. I know they should be able to cope, but I just want to compare figures to be on the safe side.

Anyone?

Before I go out to grab it from the car..is there anything in the handbook or have you already looked mate???

I've looked at the handbook (Towing pg 184) as I thought something may have been in that section regards nose weight, and max spring weight. But there is nothing.

The handbook is not the best when getting technical

Under 2.5 TDI or your model was a list of weights on the technical section

If it helps, the tyres on my car say the max weight per tyre is just over 500kg. It might be the same for the springs. Obviously your tyres and springs are likely to be more load tolerant due to a heavier overall weight from the factory. I would estimate at 600kg front, 400kg rear. A real guess.
