Did the first Superb (2001 and earlier) have the same hazard switch as the Passat 3B ? Or hav the Superb always had the hazard switch placed between the 2 center air vents ?

The reason for asking this, is that I have replaced the center airvents on my Passat B3 whit airvents from the Superb. Due to this I orderd a Superb hazard switch from a braker. What I got was a Passat switch (passat part number on it), but the breaker claims that the switch is from a superb 2001 moddel.

Hi mate, I have an 02 1.8T, so 1 off the early ones, and the hazard switch is between the vents, as far as I can tell this is how they've always been and it's 1 of many subtle differences between the 2 interiors thats makes the Superbs cabin more stylish.

All the same as far as I'm aware also...between the front two centre vents..mines a 2002 but think they are all like that. The Octavias and Fabias are the same position too
