Have fitted an Alpine HU to and A4 saloon (98reg) the rear speakers dont work, have been told they are amplified guessing that there isnt a power supply to turn on the amp.

anyone know how to get the rear speakers working?? have used the ISO connector that was supplied. there is a small connection of wires that come from the car's wiring but dont connect into the HU.

hi mate you need an autoleads amplified system adaptor, dont have the part number to hand but if you go to your local halfords etc they should know what you talking about, iirc they are around 30 quid and are plug and play at the back of the hu with no other messing with wiring

Did a bit of playing and found that connecting both loose blue (remote on/off)(one from the harness and one from the HU) wires the rear speakers work OK.
