Octy 2004 CD changer make/compatibility?

Featured Replies

I am of a mind to replace the standard Skoda radio (made by Grundig) fitted in my 5/2004 1.9TDi SE 130 with a more modern, more sensitive radio that will play mp3 discs and/or has an external source input such as an iPod.

There is a CD six-disc changer in the boot which so far I have been unable to identify or (for that matter) remove.

Can anyone help me

(a) with instructions for removal and

(B) the make and model of this changer.

Some aftermarket radios will drive CD changers - for instance a very common changer is a Kenwood which will also work (IMSMC) with Sony and Blaupunkt as well a Kenwood head units.

Any input gratefully received.
