I noticed today that if I do not use the SatNav or Audio on a run and then switch the ignition off the SKODA LOGO appears in the screen for about 2 secs and then disappears. Is this normal. Even if I do use the unit - again when I switch off the ignition the unit turns off and then the LOGO appears again for the 2 seconds?

Has anyone else had this - or is it quite normal?

mine does so i hope it is normal, have a loan elegance today so will try it on another car and post later

tried loan elegance - if unit switched on and using satnav in info mode and switch off and even pull key out - then turn back on - no logo just map. If come back after 15 mins then logo, but it has to be a fair while otherwise goes straight to map. If you are not using after a run and then switch on then logo appears.

my view is something not right if logo comes on when have been using but to be honest this one I have appears different to my old one and could be faulty or just temperamental and yours the correct way. I would ring dealer and ask them to be safe.

Thanks Pugwash - the unit seems to work ok just this little annoyance really so I think I will see how I get on over the next few months. I still have 2 yrs warranty to find out.
