Hello and welcome to Briskoda.

Have a search round the site - there are lots of recommendations on what can be done. You will also find plenty of opinions on who the best suppliers are. Check out the site sponsors and partners.

You should also consider brake upgrades and handling modifications - possibly before doing the power upgrades.

Don't forget that any mods will probably invalidate your warranty, and Skoda UK are watching!

Other than that - have fun!

I'd strongly recommend a brake upgrade before even asking about chipping. It's the one place where I think Skodas fall down markedly wrt the Citroen I used to drive.

Welcome to Briskoda mate:thumbup:

Jabbasport is the place to get it remapped and any other mods you might want/need. 7k is nicely run in with that engine too!

312mm. Octavia vRS/TT brakes are what you will need up front if you are thinking of really going to town with your engine, but the standard ones aren't too bad.

Handling mods to be considered must include the Jabbasport rear anti roll bar too, these are well worth the money!!

what about lowering springs? do jabbasport do them plus how much to fit them as i only live bout 20 miles from their garage!?

In your circs I'd suggest (subject to budget):-

1) Brake upgrade

2) Suspension kit

3) Full zorst

4) Freeflow filter and/or CAI

5) If you want to go mad, FMIC, or if you don't a freeflow vent in the front bottom of the RH front arch liner

6) Remap.

And get Jabba to quote the lot (well apart from anything I'd do myself when I'd still ask them to quote the parts).
