i've noticed when i open the drivers door theres a faint buzzing noise that almost sounds like some sort of motor starting, kinda like a fuel pump noise, its lasts for about 5 seconds or so but only happens when i open the drivers door.

Anyone know what this is ?

Its done it since i had the car so i'm assuming and hoping its normal, i just wanted to know is all.

its the fuel pump priming... can recall getting a face full of fuel whilst the fuel rail was off and my darling ex decided to open the door:rofl:

That would be the fuel pump. Perfectly normal.

Ohhh glad someone mentioned that - I have been wondering what that was for ages!!!!
