Direct Line and mild mods, anyone?

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any experience of declaring mild mods to Direct Line and what effect it had on their insurance?

I've been advised the ARB on my mk1 vRS needs replacing and was thinking of going for an uprated replacement.

Also wondering how a Green Performance filter panel might affect the insurance on my otherwise standard car.

I recently declared my rear ARB on my Fabia to DL, they saw it as an safety enhancement so nothing extra to pay.

Cheers mate

Yeah, I rang them the other day and they weren't bothered about the ARB.

The air filter mod they quoted a loading of about 17%, putting it in their 'High performance air filter (up to 10% gain)' category.

I declared my remap when I had my Octy RS....an extra
