Bosch aero wipers...

I know people have done this already, but they arrived today, were easy to fit and work so much better than the standard Bosch items.

You paid about half as much as me then!

Just noticed, we seem to have them the opposite way round. If you look at the ridge running along the top of the blade, the larger flat area to one side of the ridge is towards the top of your screen, whereas mine is facing the bottom. Is one of us wrong?

They can only go on one way, dont think it matters much.

That's okay then. I had visions of everyone posting to tell me I'd got them on upside down!

Nice shine on you car there mate, i know how hard the black ones are to keep clean.:)

Where did you get the bosch wipers from?

i like mine where you replace the arm as well as the blade as it sits lower on the windscreen so looks more streamlined. but looks good anyway and mine look like the top ones in the way they are fitted.

couldnt go back to the originals now

Get the Bosch one from wiper blades.co.uk

I think mlutons ones are upside down, either because they are designed for an LHD car or for some other reason.

The bit you refer to I assume is the aerofoil/spoiler on the top of the blade and that should be as in the first pic. Certainly the OEM arms fit as per the bosch ones.

I believe that if fitted the other way around they will create more noise and be less well pushed against the screen when wiping at speed.

I'm ashamed to admit that I haven't once polished the car since it was new a year ago. I had it treated with Diamondbrite Jewelultra before I collected it and all I do is use the shampoo that came with the car and a conserver about once every six weeks. Seems to do the job.:o

Had my Bosch ones delivered 2 weeks ago much better than the standard ones.

Only problem is wind noise.

Once I go over 70 the noise become noticeable.

Guess I will just have to slow down.:D :D

They only fit one way round, but you maybe right, them being for a LHD car.

They are doing the work and at the price i paid, even if i get 6 months use, ill be happy.
