ive just bought a spare key offr ebay for my vrs,how do i programme it and wheres the best place to get the key cut?

The remote buttons can be programmed at home using the method stated HERE It works, I've used it.

The imobiliser needs coding using vag-com I think.

There is a place in redcar which will cut it, I think it's down the street opposite the cinema (if you have your back to the cinema/sea, walk down that road and it's on the right hand side IIRC). It was a few years ago when I used them but they certainly did this sort of key.

There used to be a guy on eBay that did then cheaply cut to a good digital image. My dad used him and it worked fine.
