Does anyone know if 235/45/17 tyres will fit on the vRS wheels

I know the ones on it at the mo are 225/45/17 so was wondering if the extra 10mm will fit as this would improve the grip quite abit (extra 20mm of rubber on tarmac = 2mph faster round bends:rofl: )

I don't think you can, not by looking at this tyre/rim calculator anyway (just over half way down the page).

Maximum tyres on your rims are what you have already!

Now; if you had gone for the 18s you can go up to 235/35 from 225/40.
