Hi, returning member, Toughseal??

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have been away from the site for a while so thought that I would say hello again.

I currently have a new Octy Vrs on order and wanted some advice on sealants. I had my last Vrs supagarded and was not impressed. I was thinking of having the new one Toughseal`d but have noticed Swissol being mentioned on the site.

Can anyone point me in the right direction??

Didn't have Freedom when I joined, What is this??

Thanks

Like anything Supaguard is only as good as its application.

General opinion on the dealer applied treatments seems to be they do a reasonable job but are way overpriced. But don't think you can just have the car done before delivery and then shove it through the car wash every week hoping the paintwork wont get damaged.

Its seems to be quite common to buy something like the Supaguard kit for $30 off Ebay and apply it yourself.

Personally, I would rather spend the money on detailing products and look after my car on a regular basis. Lots of guides and tips in the styling and care section on here, or have a read of the guides on Polished Bliss - Specialist Vehicle Detailing - Services, Products and Advice - make sure you understand the two-bucket wash method if nothing else!
