new brake pads abs light still on and esp light still on

Just got new pads on the front of my 52 superb , my mech who does the works said the car is ready and i went to collect it , i started the car and the 2 lights mentioned stay on on the dash , my mech who is a top lad very trustworthy couldnt believe it he said i just done a road test and there were no lights on , everything works fine the abs seems ok the brakes work fine but the lights stay on , on tuesday we are getting it hooked up to the computer but just for a bit on knowlege , can anyone help .

Do you mean and ABS loght or does it say 'Check Brake Pads'?!?!?

had it on the computer today its the speed sensor on the drivers side with a intermitting signal , the lad who fix my car says its not a big deal and will sort it no bother , it seems theres a sensor in the hub by the CV ring which is either not fixed back correct or could be broken either way he isnt to concerned , the the check brake pads sign i have had for a while becuse the sensor in the brake snapped thats why i got new pads put on and that has now gone , the lad on the computer cleared the fault but said it will return it did because it need the work doing on it .

That is what I was going to lead too mate....I replaced all my ABS sensors on my Bora and I have the same problem on the Superb at the moment....next on my list to be changed and they aren't hard to change....
