Passenger seat carpet -fix node module for interior light?

Featured Replies

Hello from Norway!

I've just bought a Skoda Superb 1.9Tdi 2004.

None of the interior light seems to work, and I've read that this is a commond probplem because of water under the passenger seat and a corroded node.

Can someone tell my how I can "open" the carpet, and where do I find the node that I need to replace?

-Frank

First i'd check the front under the glovebox.

Remove the kick panel trim, there is a cap you have to pry out and then a screw behind it. Lift the sill trim up and then you can get under the carpet, check for water/dampness.

But isn't the node in the rear seat on the right side (passenger side)?
