Hello I am a new skoda octavia estate driver , love my car!!

Off to france tomorrow and forgot to get headlight adjustment kit. read the info on how to adjust the beam , but looks too complex for me . has any one got a template for using sticky tape to block the beam?

When I drove to Prague, I just turned the headlight adjustment wheel to position 3 (ie fully loaded vehicle) and didn't bother with any adjusters. Didn't get stopped, although lots of the driving was in the daytime (with headlights still on in some countries).

I took a couple of rolls of masking tape with me, but like you I didn't have a template so didn't bother. Guess I could have knocked something up if I'd got stopped.

If you want to get some of the universal type stickers that come with full instructions for all makes, you should be able to pick some up easily enough at the ferry terminal or on the ferry itself.

Most ferries have them for sale (with full instructions) in the duty free shop.
