Hi to all, new here and this is my first post, I have a problem with my superb climontronic.

It used to beep when u pressed any button but now nothing except when u turn it down u hear like a crackling noise coming from the passenger side under the dashboard. It is still working apart from this. Hope somebody can throw some light on this for me.

I can't comment on the crackling noise but I do know that the beeps can be turned off and on as I turned mine off some time ago (they annoyed me ! ). The handbook describes how to do this IIRC but maybe you don't have one with this second hand car ?

I'm sure another member will give you the answer, either having their book to hand or already knowing how to restore the beeps !

Hi, Thanks but I have tried that but no joy. The crackling noise is just the unit changing over from hot,cold etc, its not a fault just a slight hum etc. Anybody got any orther answers for me as I have checked the manual and can find nothing?
