Has anyone replaced the speakers in the superb with aftermarket ones? Is it simple or do they have crazy connections?

i didn't do it myself, but did it at an audio shop.

I changed all the 4 component sets and got Rainbow component speakers a few weeks back, added in an amp and subwoofer yesterday.

all linked to the symphony HU, which is quite ok, but could be better, but i hate to lose the steering wheel remote and Maxidot ..........

Wah.. How much did you spend??

Seems quite ex. Rainbow Speakers are ex.

Thats my debate. My problem is when I turn my music up, my HU display dims and brightens. This is quite annoying lol. I'm tempted to install a screen up front, replace all the speakers with pioneer or infinity and then run a PC from the boot for my music, internet, tv etc.

On a side note, my car is a 2003 03 plate car, if I take off the door panels, I'm not going to set any airbags off or anything am I??

Taking the door panels off it very easy and not a problem.....

Remove the handles with a flat bladed screwdriver and then un screw the visible screws, then remove the handle, then at the bottom of the doors remove the torx screws, then slide the door card up and disconnect the door pull and speaker wires.....simple....airbags will not be a problem....

Your battery or alternator is weak i guess. Therefore the disply dims.
