Does anyone know if there is a method to get rid of the 1000 mile warning?

Other than Vagcom that is, on a Vx it's a quick press of the mileage counter.

Bit miffed again tbh, I was sold it on a 20k service deal and I've only done 9k since, obviously they either didn't service it at all, or used semi oil hence why it's flashing me now.

Read through your 'Service Book' and it details how to do this in there.....

Oh, cheers, I did get returned by google a couple of VW sites last night with hold the od turn the key and right turn the clock, did it but can't be sure if it's worked yet, mind you if the oil hasn't been changed it'll just tell me I still need a service anyway.
