Aren't Skodas fantastic!

You know when you have had a car for a while you just sort of get use to it and dont always appreciate how good it really is? I always enjoy driving my car, it always starts first time and doesn't rattle, creak or go wrong but the other day, I took my brother's car in for a service for him as I was free.

He drives an S-Class mercedes, fantastic car! but the courtesy car that I had for the day was a brand new A class.

It was quite possible one of the worst cars I have ever been in, it had done 600 miles but rattled and squeeked from all over the cabin, it looked so cheap inside, it was noisy and the stability was horrendous! it was all over the place on the motorway! truly hateful!

That brings me on to another subject dealers! his S-class is 6 years old now, has full MB service history from the same garage from new and has only done 55,000 miles, as he was not able to be contacted that day I asked them to call me if anything needed doing, they called me after about an hour and listed so much that needed doing it was unreal! The total estimate.... about

Your brother would do well to contact Trading Standards and get them to check that garage out. A brother-in-law of mine bought a new Mercedes and had the alloys changed by the dealer for bigger and more expensive Mercedes ones. The dealer fitted tyres which did not meet the speed rating for the car and sister-in-law had a tyre blow-out not long after taking delivery of the car.
