Hi all. I have a early 2002 Skoda Superb which currently has the standard Symphony head unit in. I am looking to swap to an after market Blaupunkt unit, but when I connect it all up, the head unit looses the position on the disc every time i switch the ignition off.

This is a real pain when you burn 40 odd mp3's onto one disc and you can't remember what track number you want!

Has anyone every come across this problem before? The wiring harness is a standard ISO setup and I have been told that there is no adapter for the loom on the early 2002 model.....

Yep, the Skoda wiring isn't quite ISO, as the permanant and ignition lives are reversed. You need to swap these over, there is probably some bullet connectors in the Blaupunkt wiring loom to allow you to do this.
