Ok,

I'm going to get a new head unit, and loose my steering wheel remote, but the one I get will have a remote anyway so not too fussed.

I'm after something that is going to be good quality and improve my sound. I've had JVC and Alpine in the past but what other makes are worth looking at?

maby a becker you can get them with a green back light to match your dash and they do sound good i used to have one but now im back to my alpine

My Blaupunkt woodstock DAB seems to be OK with the speakers in the car

I was looking at headunits about 6 months back and quite a few I looked at were available with steering wheel control adapter harnesses to allow the use of the existing steering wheel controls.
