Fitting bumpers

Featured Replies

My Superb had to have the tront and rear bumpers replaced after someone hit me as I sat in a queue. I made the unfortunate mistake of taking it to Snows Bodyshop in Fareham who after five attempts, scratching my bodywork etc have left the car with the front and rear bumpers fitting badly.

There is a gap of several mm between the bodywork and bumper on the rear and the front bumper is a bit loose and hangs down a bit at the front. Its no good taking it back to them as they will just wreck the car (a colleague tells me they did so much damage to his Volvo that he had to sell it)

Is there anyone here who is competent to fit these bumpers properly? Cant imagine its that hard. I have no confidence in any Skoda dealers etc, as EVERY one I have been to has been terrible.

Also - anyone know where I can get a set of alloys as found on the elegance? - I have a comfort.

Cheers

Removing and re-fitting the front bumper is simple with the rear being a little bit more tricky but your a fair distance from where I live.....

As for the wheels, do you have 5 spokes or something else?
