Coolant Temperature Sensor

At long last I bit the bullet and took my Superb into my local dealer to see what fault was being reported as the EPC light now continually shows. He plugged in his VAG-Com box of tricks - only 1 fault displayed - Coolant Temperature Sensor - said it could wait until the next service (1000 miles away)

Can anyone point me in the right direction on the engine where this offending part may be?

Car is 2004 PD130TDi

Hello! With the Heat we are experiencing in these days in Italy (more than 30º) I decided to use the the aircon, as last Summer it was really wonderful BUT with my surprise it doesn’t work! I thought there was no gas in the tank but test said there was; I also put new from the beginning but nothing changed: Skoda mechanic told me he doesn’t hear the compressor starting. Thinking to the works I made on the car, I realized I replaced the climatronic panel with the one with heated seats and since

I have just found a leak on my front RH shock absorber. The car is fitted with DCC, so I am looking at replacing it with the Monroe "aftermarket parts" and also replacing the protection kits and top mounts while I am at it. Does anybody know what the correct bump stop length is for the iV, or how I can find out?

Hoping to purchase a 2.0l TSi Sportline/Laurin & Klement variant at some point soon. My budget may result in me seeking out a vehicle with 95K onwards on the clock. I’ll be only considering something with a full comprehensive service history. My understanding is that I shouldn’t worry about cam chain tensioners as they go on and on. But do they? So is there anything I should really looking out for? Thanks
