Had a dent removed from my boot lid while the car was in for some other repairs and the trim now rattles whilst driving.

How do you safely remove and refit it? I've had a look but don't want to force it as breaking it would make it rattle even more.

I've wedged a folded piece of paper in the gap for the time being as it's driving me mad!

You need a fair degree of force to get it off. There's another recent thread about all the tricks etc of refitting it.
