Hi, I have an Skoda Octavia Elegance 2004 model, and I'm planing of changing the

speakers in the front doors.

The only thing what is bothering me is the stock tweeter and the woofer wiring.

Is the tweeter and the woofer wired to an crossover box or just wired straight to

the HU?

And if it's wired to an crossover box, where is the box located?

Nope, the cable goes from the hu to the mid speaker, then another cable goes from the mid speak to the tweater up the door.

I took the cable from the hu into a crossover then ran new cable to the mid speaker and used the existing cable up the tweaters.

Still works 4 months on.... so must of done it ok

I took one of the speaker out and their is some isolation behind the speaker, is it okey to cut it away?

Just wan't to be sure if it's okey so I will not damage some thing.

And one thing what kind of speakers do you have, just to give me idea for a speaker system?

ive doen the same as ethos but i kept the speaker backing as i beleieve ( i may not be correct ) but that is water proofing insulation.

Yes, I didn't cut the membrane as it CAN lead to water leaking in.
