Navman N20

Featured Replies

Hi peeps,

Maplin have the Navman N20 down from £179.99 to £109.99. Includes Full European mapping, speed camera database preloaded and a TMC reciever.

I just bought one, and it is a great bit of kit. The TMC works really well and gives updates of slow traffic and road closures etc and its all free, no subscription.

Amazing bit of kit for a tad over £100!

How does it compare to the TomTom 720T (for anyone that might have used both).

Oh , and I've just seen that if you sign up to their newsletter you can get a £7 discount voucher.

Any idea how long it takes to arrive?

Well for that price I thought WTF and bought one.

As for the discount voucher , register and then when you go to the checkout stage you can select it from a drop down list.

Its not as well specced as the 720, voices are a choice of 2, and there isn't things like bluetooth etc. But I'm finding it a very decent sat nav, it gets me from A to B, even if I have to divert to C!

So far, its great! Although having trouble connecting it to the PC

The TMC reciever interests me. But ever since getting a Dell PDA with sat nav for my ex and it coming with some crappy navman type software (instead of the expected TomTom), I've been a bit dubious of all satnavs other than TomTom

I have always used Tomtom, but the N20 from Navman is prett decent, and the TMC inclusion saves £70 before you even start with tomtom :)

Bought one of the navmans yesturday, have heard the mapping software is very good. At the mo am using a myguide 3000 with borderless european routing.
