Hi

Can anyone help is saw this item on ebay its a Connects 2 usb interface with an sd and card reader and 3.5mm jack plug . the item number is below sorry i dont how to link it .

Does anyone have any knowledge of the item .

Looks similar to the ipod interface except that it accepts usb devices instead, I guess it connects to the CD changer interface and thats how you select it on the head unit either via CD or AUX.

I was looking at one of these for my new focus but the ipod version.

It's pretty much the same than the Chinese XCarLink.

Like Whoosh said, it connects to the cd changer input on your headunit and you operate it like a normal cd changer. i.e in USB version you'll create folder's CD01...CD06 and put all the mp3 files under those folders. Then on the headunit just select the desired "CD" and it play's the songs under that folder.

It's pretty good piece of equipment. Only bad side on the Chinese version is that the gain setting on the mp3's has to be lowered. Otherwise it starts clipping the sound and that sounds BAD.
