Featured Replies

After reading vRS Stu's colour coding article I was wondering if any one could tell me the part number and price of the crome surround as i want to colour match it like this....

Also does any one know how easy it is to remove the skoda badge and re attach it?

one final question, any one know the paint code for the vRS metallic blue?

Cheers,

Dan

Hi Dan,

That looks like bahnstormers vRS;)...The chrome surround cost around 70 euro IIRC(Ireland).

The Skoda badge is quite tricky and difficult to remove but with patience it can be done.

Otherwise if you damage it you'll have to replace it.

To re-attach simply glue it back on.

I'm sure someone will be along to advise on the code for blue paint.

what do you think would be the best primer to use? im not sure whether to rough it back to the plastic or try it with a metal primer

I'm having this done to my Octy during the week. I decided to go with the primer instead of sanding off the plastic on the chrome. The insert is already flimsy and thin stock.
