Good first service

Featured Replies

Just had our 07 Octy 4x4 Amb back from its first service after covering 15,000km in under 4months all was OK ,almost nothing to report. We had a slight top up of oil of 0.25 lt ( quarter of a pint) after its initial running in period, we never used more. Have stayed on winter tyres as more snow forecast, and we have a fixed service period after another 15,000km which we estimate will be July 08. Fuel stayed at average of 5,90 lts diesel -100km that's 45.73 miles per gal I think, 80% motorway driving, some secondary potholed country and city roads. So I suppose we might look for a slight improvement in the fuel when we change to summer tyres, would that be fair to say ?.

Happy easter all.

So does anybody know what fuel difference one can expect when a change from winter to summer tyres takes place ??

I think you're more likely so see a difference if you wear an extra pair of socks:rofl:
