New vRS owner

Featured Replies

This Saturday I get to pick up my 57 plate octy vrs hatchback TFSI in red. She has full leather with the red beading:D and has a Skoda lowering kit dropping her another 30mm:thumbup: and running on 18"s. It will be sad to see my mk3 Golf gti with full leather, air con and sunroof go but the grin factor of the vrs is awesome!!!

I will get some pics up as soon as I can.

Had a look at that, but it does say not suitable for cars with sports suspension, the OP has a vRS . I know there used to be an option for lowering springs but the Skoda website states these are no longer available.

I'd guess the OP is actually referring to the basic Eibach -30mm spring kit that can be ordered through the dealer. Cost is just over £100.

How do you get full leather trim, I thought the seats in the VRS were standard mixed?

eibach? i put it on my previous car - octavia tour sport - WTS - I dont know whether you had it - it is an octavia with 1,8T 150hp, interior - sport seats, sport steering wheel. exterior - front and rear sport bumpers, 16" rims - everything like vRS. but the suspension was usual. I've installed Eibachs - it was absolurely impossible to drive... Later I put Koni Sport - that became much better. actually that was perfect. it is my album alexrs.io.ua íîâûé

Don't worry I see it as an upgrade in the accessories shop and not on the car builder website. Looks awsome.

Another dumb question, are we saying that the VRS has factory sports suspension (10mm lower than standard) and that all that needs to be swapped is the springs (which are now no longer available?)

BTW- the B14 wheels look smart!!

I feel my new VRS in 18 months time is going to get quite a change, even more so if the show car comes a reality.
