Featured Replies

my warranty runs out in two weeks, dealer has asked if i want to extend it,it comes with skoda assistance£675 for two years.is there any difference between skoda assistance and the rac, arnt they one and the same, also what do you think of the price for two years warranty ?.

michael.

Is it the full Skoda warrenty you've been offered? I ask because I shall probably keep mine beyond 3 years so I'll be in the same boat as you in 2 1/2 years time, so will be probably be considering doing the same

hi littleade, yes i think so,£675 for two years inc skoda assistance.dealer price is less than warranty direct or warranty wise,i need to speak to them to confirm if its a strait follow on to my current warranty.cant make my mind up and drop it and take a chance that nothing goes wrong with it,

regards

michael.

Sounds a good deal to me compared to Warranty Direct and paying extra for RAC membership.

The Skoda Assist guys have specific VAG training and carry more of the required parts and more specific diagnostic equipment apparenlty. I'll be signing up with them in the next few weeks as mine is now just over three years old. It was £90 for a year and £155 iirc for two. :)

From my dealer enquiries I was told it is not an official product they are offering.

Recently I contacted Skoda uk to clarify and confirmed above...but they may be offering an official

product in the future...but no timing.

Can't remember the 'partner' organisation supplying the non official warranty though.
