Skoda Superb Mk2 - Bolero Radio, problems with the BT player

Featured Replies

Hi, so I've bought a superb from 2012 that has the Bolero radio unit, it works fine but the Bluetooth has been very annoying with the way it functions.

The main problem is that when I start the car and my phone connects to BT and I play music, the radio doesn't show song information and touch controls on the screen don't "activate". Now the frustrating part is that if I then disconnect my phone and reconnect it everything works as intended, i can change songs and it shows what song is playing.

This has been driving me insane since I don't have wheel controls. Now if the radio never let me change songs in the first place that would've been that, but the fact that it CAN do it but chooses not to really ruins my experience with the car overall.

Is there anything I can do to improve the connectivity, or is there a software update that fixes it?
