Skoda's new Limited Black Edition
fabia55 replied to saurabhdutt's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
I can't see much difference between an expensive black edition fabia and a monte carlo in black, not worth the £5000 extra. I'd rather buy a 6-12 month old fabia monte and save thousands. sat nav and different seat colour maybe. -
what do you mean, don't fit? it's the other way round, the evo's and scoobies don't fit in with the VRS's. the skoda totally outclasses the cheaply built or showe-off bmw's.

I've heard there used to be meets at Hams Hall, not sure if they happen these days. Are there any cruises anymore?

It pays to ring up the insurance company, I always get a better price over the phone than on the website for the same company.

Fiat Chroma rear end from that angle.

It would look better without that piece of black trim behind the boot window

Looks like a Fiat Stilo Estate. Need to be smoothed the area behind the headlights.. Bet they're going to charge a premium over the mark 2.

What was the best MK2 Fabia model?
fabia55 replied to AJR77's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Isn't the 1.2 basically the same engine as 1.6 but with 1 less cylinder? The 1.2htp is my choice good balance of economy, price, running cost, reliable, good in town and on the open road. The only compromise is the low fuel consumption at higher speeds 70mph+ on the pre fl models, I believe the fl models have higher gearing in the top gear.. It suits most people's needs. -
Monte Carlo alloys fit on rapid sport
fabia55 replied to Jason2290's topic in Skoda Rapid & Spaceback (2012 > )
I don't think the 5mm difference will much be noticeable The Monte recently have the same wheels as the fabia VRS, older Monte models have 'Trinity' alloys -
I'm going to use Collinite 915 before the winter. After washing my car can I leave it wet or best to dry? Collinite recommends using a damp cloth to wax.
