What does your temperature gauge sit at?
pulse replied to Dazza95's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
I had the same problem which turned out to be the thermostat. -
Yeah I thought they'd be whiter too tbh.

Ha nice. I've just upgraded mine to night breakers all round. Seem a fair bit brighter but I swapped my headlights at the same time to polished ones as my others were a quite dull. Yet to test them on a proper dark country lane like. But reports from others seem good about them. Think amazon was the cheapest I found.

pulse replied to wiredsoftware's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Nice guide. Might be handy for me soon as I pulled my centre console up sharpish forgetting to unplug the lighter and now it won't work. If anyone has one spare let me know- 8 replies

Underseat storage box 2002 2.0 petrol
pulse replied to Telgolf's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Pull harder?? Worst case just break it open. Replacement should be under £20. -
On page 4 mate. Converted them to manual control though to save messing with the runners.

Pic in this thread any good? http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/374808-have-i-knackered-my-headlight-adjustment-screw/

Ah fair enough. I've got an aftermarket head unit
-
Try and get the proper lupo one. Quality will be loads better. Quite expensive on ebay but best to message people breaking lupos/scrappies etc see if they have one. And no, just pull harder.
-
Maybe. Do a search for cup holders in the fabia 1 section and you'll have hours of available reading. Simple enough though, pop cubby hole out, then lupo cup holders in.
-
Just do it and get a lupo din cup holder. They're the best available in my opinion. So long as you have a spare din. Should always have come with an armrest.

How do I put the window mech panel back on the door? Help
pulse replied to Haych123's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
http://m.screwfix.com/p/timco-classic-c-1022-steel-self-drilling-roofing-screws-5-5-x-25mm-pk100/45475 I used these and sikaflexed everything up. Looks a mess but does the job. -
Sure I read on here that someone has?? If I remember rightly, they were decent enough just not 100% sturdy. Sure you could always bolt it from underneath maybe.
-
How about building yourself a false floor with carpet on top so it all looks oem?

Deffo not a write off. I had similar damage when a neighbour reversed into my parked car, damaged the rear quarter same as yours (dent wasn't as deep but loads more scratches), they also damaged the rear door and both rear alloys (hit one and pushed the other into the curb). Insurance repair estimate was approx £800. Had a private quote of about £400 without the alloys.
