  1. Duck me you are quick, iv just logged on and you have updated Cheers
  2. This is the threa, there are a few of us this has happened to.
  3. Evening Fallenkshatriya, yes I could post to Glasgow. No probs
  4. Brand new Whiteline RARB part no BWR20XZ for Octavia mk2 for sale. Bought but sadly never fitted and now have a Sportline. £120 for insured recorded courier delivery. £100 if you pickup or arrange your own courier. Cheers Rossy
  5. Same as mine. This must have been the bit I heard dropping back inside. It's a different material so may not need a new hatch. Just the hinge bit itself.
  6. Same happened to me last week, I got put in the back of my Sportline to look after our 7month old and went to get his bag from the boot, lifted the handle and pulled nothing, lifted a wee bit more and the handle came off in my hand.... nothing on the handle looks broken but I definitely heard pieces dropping off in the assembly itself. Not impressed at all and I will be going to see the dealer to see what they say, hopefully covered under warranty. Still opens from the boot side but you need long arms to push the lock down. Interesting to see if there is anybody else out there that has had the same issue.
  7. @simhub I have the DTUK one with the multiple modes. It's on the website for £169 but there may be some forum discount, I'm not sure. Like I said really nice piece of kit and the discreet cubby box to the right hand side of the steering wheel houses the program selector nicely, with no wire showing and the ability to swap whenever required. Just watch sport 2 +3 it's too savage on my DSG auto.
  8. Had my pedal box fitted for 3.5k now and honestly can not go back. The difference is night and day, also with the various programs you can tailor to suit. Worth the £180 and brings the car up to expected response level.
  9. Time has come for me to sell my Skoda Octavia VRS Blackline DSG 2.0 diesel estate. I purchased it new March 2013 and have owned it since, 49,700 miles and non smokerFull Skoda service history, MOT until April 2018, serviced late April 2017, DSG Gearbox oil changed and two new front tyres. Full leather interior (excellent condition), height adjustable front seats, tinted windows, DAB radio, cruise control, climate control, air conditioning, hands free Bluetooth phone connection, multifunction steering wheel. Paddle gear change. Sports mode, 18"alloys, alarm and immobiliser and rear parking sensors. The car is in very good condition inside and out, very economical if wanted to be. I did not want to trade this in as i felt giving the dealer a desirable one owner car just serviced and MOT'd and watching them adding 1.5K was a waste and thought i would try private first. All original documents and two sets of keys Feel free to ask any questions, £9500,
  10. Just been reading this thread as I have a Superb Sportline 150 DSG and I have to say the throttle peddle response is terrible, I also have a mk2 vrs Octavia and I was shocked how bad the Sportline felt even in Sport mode. Result:- pedalbox fitted and what a difference. Now the car feels alive, responsive, and how it should have been from the factory. Yes the settings need some fine tuning to get it exactly the way you want it ( not kicking down all the time) but when you have it set it puts a big smile on my face. I can honestly say this should be a must for any Superb driver, worth every penny and so quick to fit, 5mins flat, just unplug original, plug in the pedalbox and go have some fun.

  13. Hmmmm just gave them a call and it's back to £159 and £18 for delivery :-( Have to give it a miss at that price, or trawl the net for someone cheaper.
  14. Mike See if this works, http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/152785-fitting-a-new-rear-anti-roll-bar-on-a5-chassis/ P.s. Where did you get it and if you don't mind how much delivered? Martin
  15. Matt I drive a Navara, got my insurance through Direct Line. SDP as I don't need it for a business use. £210 fully comp and PNC. Worth a try if you are not using it for your work. Rossy
