  1. It's pinky colour no real smell to it but that's me I'm sure it's coolant. I've never worked in these cars before well not yet anyway my first thought was water pump it was changed 500 mile ago but it's coming from the front of the block is the thermostat on the front as I've heard the seal goes on them?

    I'm not to sure about the cats mate lol

  2. Yeah it was an orange hand held vcds it's my mates one he said go onto ross tech and see what the code is but as you said it's not there. Going to have to check it over again I also got 00290 and 00287 both rear speed sensors and the tale take signs of them as I've got the three lights on the dash epc abs and run flats. But now my handbrake light comes on when driving so I was thinking that the other code would have been for that.

  3. please some one give me a clue why my occy is miss firing?

    ok well every time i start it it runs perfect but when i start to pull away it miss fires and no power but this is only when moving it miss fires it idles perfect and revs perfect when not moving. but 1 to 2 mins into driving it runs like a dream? i have not checked anything as of yet :sweat:

  4. not long got an octavia vrs thought i would join here to solve problems ect been helpfull so far :rock:

    got a few things planned for it but time and money lol

    the car does need a tidy up but for the money i got it for :giggle: im not complaining :happy:

    first thing i done to it was put the german number plate surrounds form a vw skoda garage in babenhausen.
