Coolant level is fine went to the car this morning and nothing on the floor ??? But I drove it slow before stopping unlike the other day when I stopped I had a little bit of fun with a jag xf It looks damp just behind the alternator. Need to investigate when I'm off work.

It's pinky colour no real smell to it but that's me I'm sure it's coolant. I've never worked in these cars before well not yet anyway my first thought was water pump it was changed 500 mile ago but it's coming from the front of the block is the thermostat on the front as I've heard the seal goes on them?
I'm not to sure about the cats mate lol

Yeah it was an orange hand held vcds it's my mates one he said go onto ross tech and see what the code is but as you said it's not there. Going to have to check it over again I also got 00290 and 00287 both rear speed sensors and the tale take signs of them as I've got the three lights on the dash epc abs and run flats. But now my handbrake light comes on when driving so I was thinking that the other code would have been for that.

That's what I've just read but no it's dripping down the front of the engine block I am keeping an eye on the levels an none have gone down yet fingers crossed. It's just the dripping down the front of the block I'm concerned about lol

Came out to my car in the mornin to find a puddle on the floor under cam belt side of the engine looked under the car to see its coming down the front side of the engine any ideas?

got mine trough just over a week ago
got rid of that awful tow bar just have to put the reverse sensors back in when its all bonded together. oh and take off the tape lol.big thanks to nick very happy with this

buzzing noise when the car is running on idle?

please some one give me a clue why my occy is miss firing?
ok well every time i start it it runs perfect but when i start to pull away it miss fires and no power but this is only when moving it miss fires it idles perfect and revs perfect when not moving. but 1 to 2 mins into driving it runs like a dream? i have not checked anything as of yet

not long got an octavia vrs thought i would join here to solve problems ect been helpfull so far
got a few things planned for it but time and money lol
the car does need a tidy up but for the money i got it for
im not complaining first thing i done to it was put the german number plate surrounds form a vw skoda garage in babenhausen.

any of these left? ive got the opposite i want rid of the hole some fool has put in the rear bumper for a towbar lol on a vrs what are people thinking lol

Mine has same issues but not the heavy steering it has come up with one code 00290 rear left and sensor but a lot of lights for one fault lol my abs module was done as I was told by last owner but still awaiting the receipts saying what's been done to the car.
