  1. I found it about year ago.

It is very good way to start corrossion in that place. In my up! I made a little modification on it. I wrapped it with aluminium tape and then black vinyl.

Now its waterproof and no moisture there and looks like original black foam.

  2. I have just ordered the Up moulding that goes on the front of the rear wheel arches. Hopefully this will allow the rear liners to bolt on?

    The part numbers are 1S0 810 987 1S0 (LHS) and 1S0 810 988 1S0 (RHS) £3.65 + vat each.

will let you know if it works when I get them.

  3. You do not need as many screws etc as it states (not on the citigo)

I cannot get this is attach maybe the UP rear bumper is different??

You must change this part in bumper for another one attached to liners kit. And then replace plastic screw for metal one with torx head.

  4. In my original post I had doubled the quantities. However it looks like I need to order more although you have not mentioned using the 4 x Expanding nut 5 x 13,2 N 106 213 01?

Because you need 8pcs just like you wrote

  5. Whilst trawling through the Seat/VW UP forums for coding help I came across a reference to the UP having rear wheel arch liners. Searching on ETKA I found the following parts to fit the liners (2012-2014 models the same).

However I am not sure if they would fit a Citigo but would think there could not be much difference? The cost was put at around 60 Euros?

    1 x Wheel housing liner plastic left rear 1S0 810 971

    1 x Wheel housing liner plastic right rear 1S0 810 972

    8 x Expanding nut 5 x 13,2 N 106 213 01

    12 x Expanding nut 4,8 N 908 338 01

    36 x Hex soc head panel bolt N 909 747 01

    8 x Insert Nut 811 807 577 C

Quantities are to do both sides of the car

    12 x Expanding nut 4,8 N 908 338 01 (I used only 10)

    8 x Insert Nut 811 807 577 C (I used only 4)

    36 x Hex soc head panel bolt N 909 747 01 (I used only 12)

Maybe I did something wrong, but everything looks OK and there is no more empty hole to use any more bolts.

  6. It depends what you expect from car.

ASG gear changes are much slowler than DSG. In some situations gearbox "thinking" before change gear.

However I would never change my up! ASG for manual. Comfort of auto box is very important for me.

You should make a test drive before decide to by or not. Not everybody is satisfied with this AT.
