  1. He's on twitter now dressed up as a fox driving a McLaren and a Bentley - XavierFox19
  2. If delivery times have really increased, then I wouldn't be surprised if Skoda are prioritising production for different markets. IIRC one of the reasons why the pre-FL delivery times came down was because of poor demand in Continental Europe. If that has reversed for the FL then that could effect UK delivery times.
  3. There's a bobdog active over on the thenorfolkbroads.net forum. His location is the same - 'People's Republic of North Norfolk' and given http://www.thenorfolkbroads.net/forum/index.php/topic/4271-strong-wind-warning/ I'm pretty sure it's the same bobdog.
  4. > With just 1,680 of these striking cars being made Wonder where the 1,680 number came from? Pity there's no petrol option. I'm not so keen on the black roof either but that's a personal thing.
  5. There was no 2D option this morning for me. Now the configurator is unavailable again!
  6. The link from the skoda.co.uk site doesn't work for me. It wanted Microsoft SilverLight installed - why does skoda force Microsoft on people? Running Linux this is not good for me. I tried installing a version of SilverLight for Linux but that didn't work. Switching to a Windows laptop SilverLight installed ok but I still had an error saying the configurator was unavailable. I then tried the link given above. That still works however it wouldn't let me add the electric seats to the Elegance spec. I wonder if that is a consequence of offering electric seats on the L&K. I also noticed that the SE Plus model is no longer listed. So to get the 170 CR engine you have to go with at least the Elegance spec...
  7. That thought had occurred to me too. Something like the Urban spec from last year could appeal although I imagine the options would be limited if at all. The last car I bought was just before a major facelift. Having driven around for the last 4 years in a car that was out of date soon after I bought it, I'm inclined now to wait for the FL. However having seen a few facelights in the past turn a good car into a dog it's tempting just to be done with it and order the current version. The possibility of a good discount on the current model is attractive too although residual values will of course take a corresponding hit when the FL appears. Decisions... decisions...
  8. Does anyone have any thoughts about when the order book will close for the current Yeti ahead of the introduction of the facelift? I'm thinking of buying a Yeti but would like to see what the new one is going to look like before placing my order. In the case of the Superb - the order book closed before the facelift was revealed - see http://www.briskoda....age__hl__ order I suspect the same thing will happen with the Yeti. Therefore my idea of waiting to see what the facelift looks like isn't such a great idea if I want a factory order.
  9. I do like the Matterhorn wheels. Pity there are no UK models with Matterhorns at the moment.
  10. There was a white L&K Yeti at the dealers in Letchworth today. Apparently it's being collected by the new owner tomorrow.
